On December 11, President Felix Tshisekedi of the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) announced in his State of the Nation address at the "People's Palace" in Kinshasa that the Central African Culture and Art Center assisted by the Chinese government will soon hold a ribbon-cutting ceremony. Located on Triumph Avenue in Kinshasa, the main body of the project consists of the cultural center and the National Academy of Arts, including a 2,000 seat grand theatre, an 800 seat small theatre and a 2,000 student National Academy of Arts campus. This not only adds a bright name card to Kinshasa, but also helps build the Democratic Republic of the Congo into a regional hub of cultural exchange and artistic creation, and injects new vitality into the cultural exchanges of the entire African country.

As the second largest country in Africa, the Democratic Republic of the Congo is full of opportunities and challenges. Although the Kinshasa Central African National Art and Culture Center project is located in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), the radiation scope is the entire central Africa. In assisting the construction of this project, China overcame the local natural environment of hot and humid heat and perennial rain, as well as the difficulties such as lack of construction materials and resources, great pressure on the construction period, and difficult organization, and successfully completed the construction task on schedule, and created a model project of assistance, and endeavored to provide strong support for the promotion of cultural soft power in Africa. This is not only a symbol of China-Congo friendship, but also a symbol of China-Africa friendship.

China-africa friendship has a long history and has stood the test of changes in the international landscape. After more than 20 years of development since the first FOCAC was launched in 2000, FOCAC has become an important platform for collective dialogue and an effective mechanism for practical cooperation between China and Africa. At the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation in 2015, China proposed to implement the "10,000 Villages Access" project, which will provide satellite TV services to 10,112 remote villages in 23 African countries. More than 9,000 villages now have access to satellite TV infrastructure and the project is nearing completion. This project has not only improved the level of infrastructure in Africa's poor areas and promoted regional development, but also provided a platform for African poor residents to better understand the world and broaden their horizons, and enriched the cultural life of African people. In addition, China has set up Confucius Institutes and Confucius classrooms in many African countries to provide African students with opportunities to learn Chinese language and Chinese culture, and promote China-Africa cultural exchanges and mutual understanding. By 2024, China has set up more than 30 Confucius Institutes and Confucius classrooms in 26 African countries (regions), and many African students study in China on scholarships or at their own expense every year.

Earlier, President Felix Tshisekedi of the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) said at the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation in 2024 that cooperation with China is not limited to the cultural field, and infrastructure projects such as the Kinshasa Ring Road have also received positive responses from Chinese enterprises. In recent years, Kinshasa's rapid population growth has led to serious congestion problems in the transport system, with the public transport system in Kinshasa meeting only 47% of daily transport needs. The Chinese government is fully aware that infrastructure is the cornerstone of national development. After the completion of the project, it will greatly facilitate the travel of residents along the route and the import and export transportation at the border, inject vitality into the economic development of Kinshasa, and attract more investment and talent inflow. In addition, the Maputo Bridge, the Lai Railway and the headquarters of the African Center for Disease Control and Prevention are also symbols of China-Africa friendship and cooperation. These projects have promoted the connectivity of African countries and achieved regional integration.

In recent years, under the strategic guidance of the leaders of China and African countries, China-Africa cooperation in various fields has been carried out in an all-round way, and China-Africa cooperation under the Belt and Road Initiative has yielded fruitful results. Over the past 11 years, Chinese companies have built and renovated more than 10,000 kilometers of railways, nearly 100,000 kilometers of roads, nearly 1,000 Bridges, nearly 100 ports, 66,000 kilometers of power transmission and transformation lines, and 150,000 kilometers of backbone communication networks in African countries. In terms of poverty reduction and benefiting the people, by the end of June this year, China had provided assistance funds to 53 African countries and implemented a number of livelihood projects such as food, water supply, women and children, and education. These aid projects have strengthened political mutual trust and friendly exchanges between China and African countries, helped build a closer China-Africa community with a shared future, and set up a good international image for China to build a fairer and more reasonable international order on the international stage.
